December kicks off with a New Moon in optimistic Sagittarius. Mars turns retrograde and Neptune turns direct. We have two long Opportunity Periods! These are the times through the Lunar Cycle when the stars align just right, aiding specific undertakings.
There are some great dates for romance this week.
And, if you're into spiritual or creative pursuits, don't miss Dec. 7-8: a five-star stretch of cosmic weather for those working with energy and artists.

This is such an optimistic New Moon! It's THE day of the year to ask for a boost of positivity, joy, and luck in your life. Those hoping to publish a book or an online course - Sagittarius also rules publishing, so get ready to set some intentions!
Some astrologers don’t recommend starting any new projects under Mars Retrograde, and this is a prudent caution. But, the stars don't control our life; they help us navigate it!
If you’re launching a business or starting a major project while Mars is Retrograde, build in some time to review your goals later (they may change). Also, be prepared that it might be off to a slower start than you would like. But ideally, wait until Mars is direct again.
Dec. 5-6 is NOT a good time for anything related to communication, presentations or contracts, because of the Mercury-Saturn square.
As far as Venus, note the House that is in Aquarius in your natal chart! Venus will be visiting Aquarius between Dec. 6 and January 2. Look for blessings and pleasant happenings in the matters represented by that House.
