Weekly Forecast for Jan. 20 -26 2025

Note: the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.

A quick reminder that Mars is still retrograde, in Cancer. While it's not the best time to start any big bold NEW undertakings (wait until Feb. 24 if you can), it's an excellent time to strategize for your year ahead, and to check for energy leaks.  Remember, energy is currency.  Are you dealing with people or circumstances that drain you of energy and if so, what can you do about that?

There is a reason I ask this question! We have some super-duper powerful energies this week, that can help you to set healthy boundaries and to connect with your personal power.  The Sun makes its annual conjunction with Pluto this week. Read on...

Another quick reminder is that Uranus is stationed at 23° Taurus throughout entire January, getting ready to turn direct on January 30.

If you have personal planets or angles between 19-25° Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Aquarius, Leo or Scorpio, chances are, you're feeling this energy. January could be the month when things can get "unstuck" for you, and you may be welcoming change into your life (or resisting, depending on your natal chart!)

OK, on to this week:

✨  Jan. 21:  the Sun Conjunct Pluto in Aquarius

If your birthday is between January 19 - 26, 2025 may be a very important year in your life.   The Sun-Pluto conjunction will be captured in your Solar Return chart, and will be a very powerful and prominent feature of your year ahead.  You may be interested in a Solar Return reading or its budget-friendly cousin, a Solar Return report.

It's also a great day to connect with your personal power.  For the metaphysically inclined, work with the Tarot card Strength (or the Emperor if you prefer), and charge a garnet or a tiger eye.

✨  Jan. 23:  Mars sextile Uranus, Mercury in opposition to Mars and trine Uranus, aaaand....an Opportunity Period - lasting from 7:13 a.m. to 4:03 p.m. PST.

This is a great day for brainstorming at work, but be careful if you need to present an opposing point of view.  You (or people around you) might come across as too forceful.  Still, the energies today are active and energetic.

Opportunity Periods are those magic windows in the Lunar Cycle when the stars align just right, aiding most undertakings.  And this one lasts from 7:13 a.m. to 4:03 p.m. PST.  It's great for having meaningful conversations.

✨ Jan. 25.  Venus trine Mars Retrograde

Ooh la la! This is a very physical, passionate energy, making it a good day for a hot date. It's also a good day to spend some time on a project that stirs your passion.

✨ Jan. 26.  Mercury sextile Neptune; Venus sextile Uranus.

A great day for artists, especially if you're into creative writing.  Inspiration might flow easier than usual.  And, it's not a bad day for romance, especially if you want to try something new and refreshing in a long-term relationship.

✨ Jan. 26 4:36 a.m. to Jan. 29 4:36 a.m. PST:  Balsamic Moon

This is one of those times in the Lunar Cycle when starting anything new is not to your advantage. Try to find some time to rest and recharge. If you're attuned to the Lunar Cycle, you might notice that your energy is low on these days.

We're heading into the New Moon on Jan 29 at 4:36 a.m. PST that ushers in the Lunar New Year.    So do something that clears the stale energy in your home, to clear some space for new beginnings!

Here is an energy-clearing activity that will also be lots of fun if you have young kids.  Go through each room in your house and make some loud noise! Bang on a kitchen pot.  Clap your hands.  Ring a bell.  Sound can clear and break stale energy.

Be intentional!  You may wish to say something like, "I'm breaking all routines that don't serve me, and invite positive change into my life".

The upcoming New Moon is in Aquarius, after all!

Jan. 26 is also the date this month to start my course, MoonManifest Yet another client emailed me to update me on the breakthroughs she had in her life since she took the course 2 years ago.  Freedom 53, anyone? 🤩

The course is hands-on and very practical.  It's aligned to the Lunar Cycle, for maximum impact, and that's why I recommend a specific start date very month.

Back to this week....

Moon Void of Course:

  • Jan 26,  1:40 a.m. to 5:43 a.m. PST
