New Moon in Aquarius
New Moon at 9° Aquarius: January 29 2025, 4:36 a.m. PST
Astrologically speaking, the New Moon is the time to set intentions for what you want to attract into your life. Part of the magic is YOU: when you're intentional about feeding your goals and desires your energy, they tend to come into your life (well, there is also astrological timing...for example, if transiting Saturn is challenging your natal chart at the moment, you might find yourself pushing through some obstacles and delays).
But - BUT!! There is a sprinkle of magic to working with the New Moon....I've seen it in action. Helpful people or circumstances can appear on your path. Unexpected solutions materialize. You find just the right words to say and the right things to do, at the right time. The Universe lends you a helping hand ✨✨
This New Moon in Aquarius ushers in the Lunar New Year. And, it's a very powerful Cazimi Moon! The Sun, Moon, Mercury and Pluto are all in Aquarius, positively supported by Jupiter. And, Uranus is about to turn direct. If you feel "stuck" and can't move forward, no matter how hard you try, this is a very powerful New Moon for intention-setting.
It also a good New Moon if you want to find "your tribe" - a circle of people who get you.
Aquarius rules groups of people and all kinds of electronic communication, so it’s also a good time to set intentions for success in such areas as social media or online dating.
You're not limited to these topics. Setting intentions for anything you want to attract into your life is fair game. But, the intentions for the matters ruled by Aquarius get an extra boost on this New Moon.

How To:
- Set intentions soon after the new Moon, within 8 hours if you can (within 24 hours will still work). Set aside about 30 minutes for this.
- Prepare your space. Minimize distractions, and use a quick meditation or a ritual of your choice to put you in the optimal frame of mind.
- Focus on your intentions. Truly FEEL them. How will it feel when all of a sudden, the way forward appears where you've felt stuck? Feel the relief, freedom and liberation that will envelop you. The lightness in your step - and soul. How will it feel, when you're admiring your new logo that reflects your business just perfectly? Or when you've made a connection with some like-minded individuals, and you finally feel truly accepted and understood?
- Write down your intentions and keep them. And, write down one (or more) action steps that YOU are going to take, to help you get there. And then, commit to following through while the Moon is waxing over the next couple of weeks, until Feb. 5. Do your part, and leave the rest to the Universe.
