This week kicks off with an awesome Opportunity Period that is particularly great for socializing and all things joyful. How wonderful, in the lead-up to Christmas.
If you have personal planets or angles (Ascendant, Descendant, MC or IC) between 9 - 18° of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius, chances are, this energy will connect with you in a personal way.
I've had a number of clients with the Sun or personal planets in Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces or Virgo feeling the push and pull of this energy in the past 6+ months. The overall theme is feeling optimistic about a cherished dream, but also having fears that it might not come true, that you're running out of time, or that you will have obstacles to push through.
You may also be finding that one area in your life is expanding (Jupiter), but it comes at a cost - something else is constricting (Saturn). In a recent reading, a Sagittarius client was going through a professional expansion, but it was straining her relationship with her husband.
If that's you, it's important to keep things balanced at this time, or at the very least to ensure that the price you're about to pay is worth the gain.
While this is a big backdrop of the week, there is more happening in the skies.

Ahhh! The Moon in Libra completes a Grand Trine (a beneficial energy flow) with Jupiter and Venus during this Opportunity Period. It's an awesome energy for socializing and everything joyous. Just in time for the holidays!
✨ Dec. 24: Jupiter square Saturn
Keep your holiday sparkle on, and don't let jaded individuals dampen your holiday spirit.
✨ Dec. 25: The Moon square Pluto and Mars; the Moon sextile Sun later in the day.
Merry Christmas! The morning may bring some clashes and disagreements (Pacific to Eastern time), but things should improve quite a bit by mid-morning to early afternoon.
✨ Dec. 26: Mercury opposite Jupiter and square Saturn.
Today is the day to watch out for this week. People might over-promise and under-deliver. Don't judge your own life by looking at other people's Christmas photos on social media! They might look glamorous, but it doesn't mean their life is better than yours. Mercury square Saturn in particular can bring a touch of anxiety.
✨ Dec. 27: Venus square Uranus.
NOT a good day for a first date. Relationships started today will be magnetic but unstable.
If you're hitched, it's a good day to do something on your own, especially if you feel your relationship has become stifling. You may crave some personal space.

This is one of those times in the Lunar Cycle when starting anything new is not to your advantage. Try to find some time to rest and recharge. If you're attuned to the Lunar Cycle, you might notice that your energy is low on these days.
And, if sitting still is not for you, declutter! Even if it's one drawer or one shelf. Clear out stagnant energy, to get ready for the New Moon on Dec. 30.
✨ Dec. 29: Chiron turns direct
An excellent day for healing old wounds, and for forgiveness.
