Weekly Forecast for March 3-9, 2025

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.  

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours in advance of the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).  They will be gaining in strength as they approach the date.  We will also feel them for 24-48 hours after, but they will be losing strength with each passing hour.

Five planets are now gathered together in Pisces and Aries, which will last through the entire March and into April.  If your birthday is in March, there will be an area in your life receiving a supersized focus in the next 12 months.  This might be the year to order your Solar Return reading! 

For one of my clients, the planets fell into the 12th House of her Solar Return chart. Such a strong concentration of energy in the 12th House is fantastic for charitable work, but can also bring some health issues. 

Remember, the beauty of your Solar Return chart is that the Houses change depending on your location on your birthday.  So if you can travel for your birthday, you can choose in which area of your life you want this powerhouse of energy to play out!  She wanted to enhance her professional life and/or finances, and sure enough, we were able to find a couple of good places that repositioned her Solar Return chart in a positive manner.  

In other news, Venus is now retrograde.  So just a quick reminder that March 1 - April 12 is not the greatest time for a marriage proposal, a wedding, or to start a new relationship.  New projects related to the beautification of yourself or your home could face delays or issues.  And, purely elective cosmetic procedures could bring unwanted results, so reschedule any interventions after Venus turns direct on April 12. Venus Retrograde is a great time though to renew your vows and, most importantly, to consider what truly maters to you in relationships. 

This week brings a number of good dates and two Opportunity Periods.  Mercury moves into its Storm next week, as of March 11, so if you have anything big to get off the ground, do it this week.  Unless it's a new relationship, that is! In that case, it would be best to wait until April 12. 

And, last but not least, the eclipse season is about to kick off.  As of Sunday afternoon, the energies will start getting progressively more erratic...

✨  March 3:  Mercury enters Aries 

Be assertive (but not aggressive) when communicating your needs. Speak up and stand up for yourself. But, be aware that communication might become too rushed, and important details can be missed. 

Mercury will stay in Aries for an unusually long time:  until May 10.  Yes, you guessed it! It will be retrograde between March 14 - April 7.

✨  March 4:  Waxing Moon in Taurus; an Opportunity Period from March 4 5:56 p.m. to March 5 2:53 a.m.! 

Opportunity Periods are when the stars align just right, aiding specific undertakings.  And this one, with the Moon waxing in laid-back Taurus, is great for work OR play! 

✨ March 5:  Mercury sextile Pluto; Waxing Moon in Gemini

A great day for therapy (deep breakthroughs are possible),  for journaling and for powerful conversations.  Just be sure to stay focused on the main issue and not digress into details. 

✨March 6:  the Moon continues through Gemini

The mind can be overactive when the Moon is in Gemini, and it can be difficult to get a good night's sleep.  Journal before bed so you can get all the worries out of your head and onto paper.  Take a relaxing bath with lavender bath salts.  Do some restorative yoga. And don't forget to shut off your electronic devices at least 2 hours before your bed time.

✨ March 8:  Happy International Women's Day! Aaaaand...an Opportunity Period! 

First of all, Happy International Women's Day! Celebrate your softness AND your strength.  The world needs both 👩🏼‍🦰💗💪🏼

And, the stars are going to align yet again this week into an Opportunity Period!  From March 8 4:52 p.m. to March 9 2:32 p.m. PST.  This Opportunity Period is yet again suitable for many things, from family life to art to moving things forward.  It's the last Opportunity Period before Mercury slows down and turns retrograde, so if you have anything important to kick off, this is a good chance.
